Familiar: Komainu, the lion-dog guardians of Shinto temples. Kunimi's is about the size of a Saint Bernard dog and constantly has its mouth hanging open, which means it also drools a lot like a huge dog. Although it has the appearance of stone, it's soft and warm to the touch.
